Rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries are alkaline storage batteries. Ni-Cd batteries use nickel hydroxide as the positive electrode, cadmium as the negative electrode, and an alkaline electrolyte.
The range of pbq Ni-Cad or Ni-Cd cells include 3 different series:
Standard for common applications such as toys, medium power tools, torches, kitchen & garden appliances etc.
High Temperature for emergency lights and some memory backup applications and
High Discharge Rate for power tools and other applications that require high discharge currents.

pbq Ni-Cd batteries has a constant and reliable performance. It can easily
be maintained to provide proper operation of the equipment that it powers.
The battery can withstand overcharge, over-discharge, vibration and shock,
and is capable of extended storage.
Sealed Construction
pbq’s construction and sealing technique guarantee that no electrolyte
leakage can occur from the terminals or the case of any pbq battery under
normal operation. This feature ensures safe, efficient operation of pbq
batteries in any orientation. pbq batteries are classified as “Dry
Batteries” and meet all requirements of the International Air Transport
Association.
Long Service Life, Float or Cyclic
pbq Ni-Cd batteries offer a long functional life. The expected life of
cyclic service can reach up to 1.200 cycles depending on depth of discharge.
Low Pressure Venting System
pbq batteries are equipped with a safe, low pressure venting system designed
to release excess gas and reseal automatically in the event that gas pressure
rises to a level above the normal rate. Thus, there is no excessive build-up
of gas in the batteries. This low pressure venting system, coupled with
the extraordinarily high recombination efficiency, make pbq batteries
the safest Ni-Cd batteries available.
Heavy Duty Grids
The heavy-duty nickel plates in pbq batteries provide an extra margin
of performance and service life, even in conditions of deep discharge.
Low Self Discharge
Because of the use well formulated materials in the manufacture of plates
and the grid, charged pbq batteries can be stored for relatively long
periods of time without requiring to be recharged.
U.L. Component Recognition
All of our pbq Ni-Cd batteries have passed UL tests and are manufactured
in ISO certified environments.
