High Discharge NiCd Range
Mechanical Design
Most High Discharge rate batteries are offered in either Sub-C or C size since the majority of these cells are used in electric tools. These cells are usually made with a flat industrial top, some models are available with a high consumer tops. Please contact your pbq Distributor for more information.
The inside
NiCd cells are spiral wound cells resembling a 'jellyroll'. This results in a large area of active materials and a strong mechanical construction. Hign rate cells have a larger area of effective material and use a different separator that is better suited for high currents.
